Root LS670.dll unable to register? (Assistance needed!)

Well the current problem is with LS670.dll, or trying to register it with windows and allowing it to show in LGNPST.

I previously had it registered and working just fine on my previous installation of Win7 but I wiped my HDD clean and decided to start fresh.

These errors occurr when trying to register the .dll with anything:

I have yet to try reggie.exe, but that is due to me being unable to find a download. There are absolutely none out there that I can find at least.

Anyone that has information that could help me, please drop a reply or PM me. I need to get this .dll registered as fast as possible, and no the .dll is not corrupted in any way nor is LGNPST or the tools I'm trying to register with.

Run 'cmd.exe' as administrator, then register (mod the path as needed):

C:\Windows\system32\regsvr32.exe "C:\LG Electronics\LGNPST\Model\MTP\VM670.dll"

Well thank you for posting that wraith but regardless it's a matter of getting the dll's to register with windows, not the dll being the issue. Also the guide I'm following uses LS670.dll and all have had no issues so I'm following that for now.

Nothing. It's something having to do with my installation of Win7, but I can't figure out what, nothing I've found around the web is helping me, in fact I'm almost considering installing a dual boot of WinXP lol.

I was referring to the part about creating and using the administrator account.

I've installed reggie.exe and go to properties and check run as administrator. Restart your computer and then drag and drop the dll on it. It'll register. Im using windows 7

Just reread this.. A question... Did you Install the generic models and components? I couldn't register my dlls for the os or ov until I had them installed
