LTE battery life

Could I just confirm that If I buy the LTE version and run it on a 3G only network (i.e. 'Three') with the phone set to 3G only
1) Will the phone revert to 2G when there isn't a 3G signal available?
2) Will the battery life be the same as a standard (non LTE) S3?
3) Will the phone use the full DC-HSDPA data transfere speeds that 'Three' offer?
4) Does the standard S3 support DC-HSDPA?

I would also be interested to know the answer to this. I have the S3 LTE on EE (Orange). On the EE / Orange website, the S3 LTE is said to have shorter battery life than the standard S3 (even when using 3G network). I can safely say that after trying the S3 LTE myself, I am not getting more than 2hours of screen time before the phone runs dry. I am thinking of downgrading to the standard S3 because I am not even using a 4G tariff and only got the S3 LTE because I wanted the extra RAM (a bit greedy, I know!)
