Root LTE Drops - new basebands

Hey guys,

I've been trying to look for this info everywhere and I haven't been able to find an answer.

Im currently running my indulge with Basix / Electric Sheep kernel.

this is one of the first indulges out there, almost a year ago was activated. I rooted and installed basix as of november - oct last year. Ever since several upgrades to the baseband have been made on OTA updates, as well the new indulges come with a new version of the baseband for CDMA and LTE.

As of november, when 4G phase II was completed we got 4G down here in SWFL. Now, ever since, i cant seem to get steady 4g almost anywhere except when Im on the road.

I know the LTE on Samsung phones suck and they switch back to 3g - 1x when there's no use of data to save battery. I know for a fact that there is LTE in mostly everywhere I am because my roomate has an LG Esteem and his 4G is everywhere on, opposite as of mine. Mine's almost always off, have to power-cycle (yes, not even airplane mode on/off works) to go back to 4g. And its getting on my nerves.

So, my question is, does anyone have seen or experienced this before with this boy?

If so, has someone find out a way on how to fix or update the Basebands to the newest versions? I'm assuming different versions imply some sort of fix to the LTE in / out issue....

thanks for reading guys, and for the future help!

Ok yes so this is the thing.

I read this but the Odin file implies going back to stock. Im not sure if I wanna do that.

Also, whats the rooting on 2.2.2 like?
Whats the free space after the 2.2.2 odin update?

I love my indulge having 1.5gb free space on it.
Ive been wanting to go back to stock, but i neeeeeeeeeeeeeeeed to get rid of the bloatware. at least easywifi and my extras -_-

You don't have yo go back to stock.
You can just update the modems alone with the provided modems.tar file
