Lte Galaxy Nexus Video

Ignoring all rumors and just going by these kinds of findings, makes me think release is very soon.

Edit: Didn't realize the new rumors had it on track for <7 days away. Next week will be a good week. GN launch and i get to watch the Niners twice.

I guess Verizon threw a tantrum so Google caved but at least they were nice enough to just swap out their logo for it so the back doesn't have 3 different logos. Can they just start selling it already please!?

go niners and nexus!!!

I know it is a small thing, but I don't like all the (as in any) carrier branding on it. It kind of makes me (as a Nexus One diehard) feel like Google sold the Nexus line out. The whole point of buying Nexus is to buy Google, to own Google's vision of what Android/Phones should be. If I wanted a Verizon phone I would buy something like a Razr or Rezound (or whatever godawful name they gave it), as something that Verizon had a hand in.
I know it is petty, but this just doesn't seem like a very Google/Nexus thing to do. At least the Nexus S was retailed through a dis-interested (branding wise) third-party that could market it more effectively than Google could. I know Verizon will be able to sell more than even Best Buy was probably able to- and that is a great thing for Android (I'd rather people were introduced to Android with this instead of a Bloat-ware laden custom UI'd device that will work great for a while then get buggy and slow way down due to lack of support)- but I just wish they had left that little logo off, and made the Google logo a little more prominent...

Done complaint though, I am excited for the exposure Verizon will be able to give the Nexus line...

I know. It seems Google is anxious to get it on sale and is getting frustrated with Verizon's strategy. Hopefully it doesn't hurt the chance of future Nexi for big red.

I don't think Vzw is getting another Nexus after this....especially if they were really the cause of the hold up, and the phones been ready for week now.

Also to those upset about the Branding! Easy fix will be to just purchase the original back plate....bammmm, no branding! Thank god its not on the phone itself.

Unfortunately, i agree. Though i don't think it will be a Google decision. It's obvious they WANT the nexus on Verizon for the exposure and sales. I just don't see Verizon carrying another one, barring huge sales by the GN.

Seriously....I'm watching these videos today of people in the UK with they're phones....Can't believe this wasn't a global release on the same day everywhere for the Nexus! Honestly, this is BS Verizon! You seriously, and I mean seriously better hope at&t/Tmo, and Sprint don't roll out a serious armory of LTE goodness in 2012..Because you guys will be done and forgotten about by many people.

I'm gonna go with speculation and blame the Rezound for this delay! If it wasn't for that release this past Monday we would be getting the Nexus today. If anything the Rezound should have came after the Nexus and Google should have demanded that they want a Global release on the same day as everyone for the Nexus
Case closed!

Release could come as early as Tomorrow! I would imagine alot of heat is coming from Google right now.

The only thing that's cautioning me is that we haven't heard of any leaks of shipments actually arriving at retail. We saw the order screen earlier this week, but haven't heard of any stores getting display units, display materials, or even early shipments. Radio Shack and Best Buy aren't even doing their little "unofficial" pre-orders. That's usually an impending sign. If anything though, they could announce pre-orders - or at least the date...I'm hoping?

Good thinking, but I am more worried about the principle than the logo appearing on my device, and what this will mean for future (edging towards carrier-locked/specific) Nexii... I know that they have been rather carrier-specific here in the states (de facto, because of 3G/4G network differences), but they have been "unlocked" in principle.

If it didn't have the Nexus name, I would swear this is nearly exactly like the launch of Eclair (partially- it was Android 2.0) with the OG Droid on Verizon, which was a branded "google experience," in which case I could hope for a truly independent google experience in a couple months like the Nexus One
