Thanks! So I can switch off the 4g when using WIFI so it's not constantly searching for it?
I just did this today, my office has a WiFi router, and it's a cinder block building so my service sucks in here...I'm at 66% (also, for an hour today I was somewhere with zero service and I know that sucks battery too, trying to find the signal) but it's been way better then when I left the LTE on, because it would go in and out...I would recommend using WiFi...
Now...should I leave the WiFi switch always on though? Just curious
Something I've always liked about using an Android phone is how strongly it automatically prefers wifi. I thought about leaving wifi on all the time briefly, but p.i.p is all over the reasons to not.
The first person to come up with a way to switch to wifi when their code is sure via all location data available that a wifi connection is available retires. Fart app makers keep working for insurance companies.
So am I understanding this correctly; If you are not in a 4G area or your 4G signal is weak, switch the TBolt to LTE only mode, as this will aid in saving the battery by not allowing the phone to continually search for a 4G signal?
Is that correct or do I have the concept complete reversed?
