I'm wondering if we had a recovery image if this apk would work? I'm a beginner with LG phones so bare with me please! I had a Optimus F3 and this apk. worked for that device. Just a random thought!

I doubt it would work but I can't possibly see it screwing up your phone if you tried but I could be wrong.

Now we just gotta get a recovery to flash!!! LOL

Doesnt need to be flashed lol, just install the app, open it and give it root access and hit the reboot to recovery button. wouldnt try it on a main device though lol, i'd suggest you buy a broken screwed up but still functional Volt and try it on that. Although i seriously doubt it would do any harm to your phone but try it at your own risk

So I'm kinda bored so I was looking over posts & I was looking at your response to my question & I went back to the Optimus/F3 stuff where I originally got that lte2 apk. (Which I still have and want to try soooo bad) & the developer who made the apk. Stated, I'm almost positive I read it correctly that if the kernel's match it should work with other lg phones! Well here's a screenshot of the virgin f3s kernel and our volts!Doesnt need to be flashed lol, just install the app, open it and give it root access and hit the reboot to recovery button. wouldnt try it on a main device though lol, i'd suggest you buy a broken screwed up but still functional Volt and try it on that. Sorry about the weird double post!!! But I wanna try it. I just don't presently have a computer if I frak my Volt up!

Ok Ok I get it, not a smart idea! I was just brainstorming, sorta! I dunno I gotta lot to learn that's why I'm here to learn & help when I can. But yah I guess its a bad idea... Bummer it would be cool if it would work.
