Luck Charms ?

Anyone have any ? I never really had any as an adult but as a kid I had a few Rabbits feet but then realized how lucky could they really be if a rabbit had to be dismembered for it. I had never found a 4 leaf clover until last March. It wasn't even a 4 leafed one. It had 5 leaves ! I plucked it and dried it and decided to keep it, unwished for now.

I had a similar epiphany about my rabbit's foot. :(

Let's see, there was the Troll doll period; mine had bright orange hair. Rubbing his tummy was supposed to bring good luck.

Can't think of anything else right now...

Sure wasn't lucky for the rabbit.

When the Kennedy half dollar was first released, 1964, my mother made a special trip to the bank to get one for my sister and myself. I don't know that it brought me luck but I carried it daily for more than three decades. I finally retired the coin after having reduced it to a silver disk. I know it's a Kennedy half but there is nothing left of the impressions on either side. It saw me through middle school, high school, college, marriage, and the births of four fine children.
When I first started carrying it daily I thought of it as insurance. In 1964 fifty cents would buy a meal, 10 calls from a pay phone, three gallons of gas, etc. As years went by it had less buying power but became more important to me. My mother passed early in my life and the coin became a symbol that always reminded me of her. The time came that it was far too precious to me to carry daily. It now resides in my safe.

Well I had a jade necklace in sixth grade I used to wear, it brought me great luck, I had a few other necklacess too that brought me enormous ammount of luck, I got a zodiac necklace a few years ago, lost that one, lost my moon and sun one. I have, still with me, an owl necklace that reminds me of my grandmother's last visit down to a bird sanctury, I did bought it at the gift shop, really an eye catching ivory necklace owl.
I used to wear them out all the time,

also I did had a rabbits foot that was blue into white fur.
I wonder what was my fasionation with necklaces where though.
It was a time and place for them.

I'm not into superstition.

Perhaps persuaded you could be.
