@church this gentleman from LG gave me recertified LG Esteem for free after I told him I am into LG phones and moddng.

@home my wife found my lost Motion under the bed while cleaning.

It's been a week since I a bought a Spirit. Now I have 2 Esteems, 1 Motion, 1 Spirit.

Let the porting and modding begin!! Hybrid here I come!!

Well yeah since you mentioned about it..

I actually talked about him about the boot loader and show rage comics and petition @ change.org

He told me that unlocking bootloader is only known engineers HQ Korea.. the method is even not published engineers & programmers in LG U.S.

Sorry if this news is disappointing, it's on our own :(

Kinda figured only the HQ in Korea would know since our phone is "Made in Korea". I'm just glad it wasn't made in China :p
 
@Bard, can you find out about those files? Maybe he has access to deleted/removed/hidden files?

I think it would be the other way around, info slipping out of our phones onto their servers.

Anyway maybe they would but I'll take South Korean crap over Chinese crap anyday.

Umm which files? The bootloader related files?

I don't think anyone in LG U.S has access on it. Later he will introduce me someone in engineer department but the engineer would not have access on bootloader file either.
