<-- This is me after successfully rooting my Casio G'zOne Commando C771 (M130). I used the same method that user SupremeDork posted in the link below:Congrats... What did you to change the cache size
Thanks
If you don't use the stock launcher or any of the GZone apps, here is a list of everything I have disabled/uninstalled (I backed them up with Titanium backup and uninstalled them with Root App Delete so I know I wasn't removing a critical system process). Haven't experienced any issues.
Not atm but if some finds out please let us knowThis is a great guide! Works fantastic!! Does anyone have a way to replace the stock lock screen
Ok I'm new and trying here's where I am
Loaded drivers to PC and extracted
Loaded adb to PC added path to program-tools and tools
Loaded cassio root
Typed chmod commands above exit zero saved
Opened typed 1 at the end of the first line save
Opened and erased 1 at end of line
Device is attached according to cmd prompt
Type adb remount and it says operation failed no permission I was hoping I could move my cassio root folder at this point what am I missing? Thanks for putting up w me I'm trying to this but this is all new to me. Either way I hope u guys can give me some insight. Thanks
OK first thank you to everyone who made the rooting process for the Commando.
Without this guide wouldn't have been possible to root myself.
My question has to do with All In One Recovery.
Read the thread not quite getting it.
Do you use both the 3.06img and recovery flash?
Seen success and failure applying this.
So could someone do a step by step for the commando.
thanks

Successfully rooted a little over 2 weeks ago, get random reboots, even when I'm not messing with the phone. Anyone know of a fix or the cause? I tried going from Superuser to SuperSU and it still exists

I have spent a lot of time reading through long dead ended threads to try and find a way to root this phone and I finally stumbled onto this thread. To my surprise, I was able to successfully root the phone in about 20 minutes by following the steps EXACTLY, however, instead of using the Superuser app, I used the SuperSU app in combination with busy box and I did not have to wrestle or worry about the su binary update thing that others have experienced.
A big THANK YOU goes out to everyone involved in this exploit!! My Casio G'zOne Commando runs sooo much better with the bloatware removed and the cache size changed to 2048.
Another happy and satisfied SUPERUSER!
Hippie helped me I'll try to walk you through it
