Help M8 nova , how to hide black background

Hi all, Im using nova launcher and I HATE the black background under the " back, home , apps " button. Without nova launcher , there is no black background. Is there a way I can disable it? or it comes with nova launcher . thanks

I suggest you use Apex launcher instead. It's very similar to Nova but much better imho.
