Mac Address Book not syncing with Google

Normally when I put a new contact into Address Book on my Mac (Leopard) all I have to do is hit the sync button in the top menu and it's off to Google to be downloaded to my Desire.

But! this does not appear to be working at the mo'. The upload from Mac to Google that is.

Anyone know if it's a problem with Google at the mo' or something else.

Cheers

Have you tried manually syncing your Desire? Also, check online on your google contacts to see if its updated there. That might help you track down where the bottleneck is.

I have the same setup and its works pretty well. To be honest though ive never tested how quickly a contact will appear on my phone after putting it in my address book.

Go into Adress Book.

Pull up the preferences(command + ,).

Under accounts, make sure "Synchronize with Google" is checked. Enter your email.password.

Then try syncing it :)

All set up and was working before.

Not appearing on Google and usually its pretty instant up to the cloud and down to phone.

It's all checked guys and exactly as when I set it up a couple of months ago. I manually hit the sync icon and it spins as usual then stops as before but nothing has made it to Google.

Well changed from Google to g and the whole lot uploaded apart from the newest contact and hey presto double contacts.

Then deleted which in turn emptied my address book. Thank Jobs for Time Machine. Lol

So appears to work apart from the contact I was trying to add and now have to re add contact photos to the phone.

Who said technology was supposed to make things easy.
