I asked this question on the MacRumours forum and no one could help, so I thought I'd try here. I just upgraded my iMac to OS X El Capitan and the new "Photos" app launches every time you plug in a new device (camera, phone, etc.). When it launches, there's usually a little area at the top of the window with a box you can un-tick if you don't want Photos to launch with that device. But while it launches when I plug in my Android phone, it doesn't actually seem to *detect* my phone, so that area doesn't appear at all. The phone never appears in Finder either.
Has anyone else had this problem? Any suggestions/advice? Any way to force the app to show me the phone so I can disable it from launching?
