Depends: Do you need Windows or OS X? Bare in mind of course the Air can run both.

Myself I would go with the Air. I could have the Samsung, but I would need to have Linux and not Windows on it, because of where I am.

Macbook Air for me. As mentioned before you can run Windows if you need to on the Mac. Also the resale value of the mac makes it an economically friendlier proposition.

Macbook Air hands down if you simply look at the price. I'd wait for this summer though when the Air is updated to the new Sandy Bridge ultra low voltage cpus for notebooks such as the Air. It will update this summer since the Air has been using Core 2 Duo ever since its initial release.
