Macbook and Android live in peace?

I am thinking about getting the new Retina Macbook, that's right I said it. Lately my need for a computer has come down to editing video and editing photographs. As such the new display on the macbook should help on both those fronts. On a more vain note I demand my laptop be built to a certain quality. Can't stand cheap plastic. Here's the thing, I am an android guy through and through (had an iphone in the past, not going back). My biggest concern is that I won't have the flexible in rooting my phones. Most of the tutorials and tools are created for windows. Am I wrong on this? Am I wrong for wanting the new macbook? The only other big draw back with the mac (besides price) is that they refuse to use bluray but I can always get an external player. In my exhausting search the Vizio CN15A2 (VIZIO 15.6) is the only other notebook that I like.

The good news is, you can still run Windows on the Mac. Whenever I need to run windows, I use VMware Fusion.

Yes, it's exactly like having a PC. You can check out some of the features here, it's definitely worth the cost.

You can also use Bootcamp to create a Windows partition on your hard drive. Here's some instructions on how to do it.

If your device can be rooted via Linux, with just a few simple mods to the instructions, you can root directly on a Mac, and if via Odin for a Sammy, there's often a Mac way for that as well.

I rooted my present phone in Windows (via a virtual machine) because it was faster and easier, a true one click, but the week before I rooted another with direct commands from a Mac.

It really depends on the rooting methods for your devices and your preferences.

Macs do win in one way for rooters - no USB drivers.
