Made the leap

After using my Moto OG since they first arrived on the scene, I considered switching to the I-phone. Glad I didn't -- picked-up a SNG from Costco yesterday.

I was pleasantly surprised to discover that all of my Apps, both free & paid, had moved over to the Nexus. I didn't expect that.

The Costco bonus pack was a nice touch, and the included belt holster will do until I find one I like better.

Still in a bit of a learning curve, but overall, I'm very pleased with the SNG. Now, I need to get my "Droid" alert back...!

Welcome to the forum/community.

You found a good source for support/info from other owners.

What did you get from costco and how much?

Costco sells it for $289, and includes an accessory kit (car charger & USB cable, screen protectors, slip-on case & belt holster, etc. I think their return policy might be better, as well. Very knowledgeable rep at the kiosk.

Also got a small rebate on my Costco Amex card.

I just got mine from Amazon Wireless last week and was pleasantly surprised to see all my apps moved over. I had been on the D1 for the last couple years and am in love with my SNG.

One of the concerns that had kept me from upgrading from my Moto OG was, what I thought would be, the hassle of reinstalling all my Apps, gathered over a couple of years. Obviously, I didn't understand how well the Google Sync worked. A couple of the Apps, designed for the OG, didn't work, so I just deleted them. And, I had to do a sync from my MAC tower to get all my passwords into Keeper. But mostly it was very painless.

The more I explore the Nexus (read, kill productivity while at work!), the better I like it!
