Sorry to hear about the delay in ordering but I hope that doesn't happen with mine. I literally just ordered it.

i ordered my phone on thursday and still have no tracking # i have called like 8 times and talked to supervisors they keep saying it is looping the order going to shipping ready then to not ready status and quite a few people that ordered on the 25th are having this issue...... so now all these days passed and still not phone or tracking # and they cant cancel the order for me to reorder or anything what a joke

i am going through this exact same thing and i ordered on the 24th... unlocked att version

ive called almost everyday since friday and all i have gotten is "standard" responses they tell me they have emailed the warehouse and thats it. my money has been taken out of my account And i have not received what i have paid for i feel as though i have been robbed. how hard is it for them to just ship a phone or CALL the warehouse to find out what the problem is.

i just got my money put back into my account but yeah it said not yet shipped and also it didnt give me any notice that my account had been charged

Yeah, I just read your post over at Google support. That Bites. A lot.
Were they supposed to email you when the money had been debited from your account? I can't see that written anywhere? I'm all nervous now but I'll practice a little patience.

Sign up for a Google Account. Sync your contacts with the email address and insert email address onto your N1.

Run Google Sync on your iphone.

That will get your iPhone contacts onto your email. Then what you will want to do is go into the Setting on your N1 goto Accounts and Sync setting. Select your gmail account and make sure sync contacts is selected and voila!

on my mac, i had the address book export all the
contacts as a vcard and told gmail.com to import
the vcard. once i synced with gmail all my contacts
were transferred to my N1

Yea that's what I did except on my path to N1 I stopped by Blackberry ville and they didn't have google sync. But thats another way to do it.

you could also try to use the SIM (formatting of multiple #'s and emails will get all fugged up, but at least you'd get the bulk...)... although I seem to recall the iphone only being able to pull contacts from a SIM, not write to them... but maybe there's a hack to make it work... worth looking into...

Ok, so I plugged in my iPhone and went to the info tab in iTunes. I checked to sync contacts and chose Google. It is sync and backing up my iPhone now. So, all I have to do now is go to my settings on the N1 and hit sync?

I will say that I am impressed with the keyboard so far. I was expecting the worst and so far have been pleasantly surprised. I'm glad I had low expectations because it has not even come up as an issue with me or my girlfriend. She also is a iPhone user.

you should first log into your gmail account on a computer and see if your contacts get uploaded to google's "cloud"...
