Made the same mistake twice!!!

I got the itch and bought another GNex after selling the first and it did not take but overnight for me to remember why I sold the first one. Do not know why but I just like my SG2 better.

Anyway, it will be going into Classified later today when I take some new images!:(

So far I love mine. The only thing I don't like is that I didn't do enough research and I didn't notice it didn't come with an external microsd, totally my fault but not a deal breaker for me.

I thought about getting the SGII instead but who knows when/if it will get ICS.

So why don't you dig it?

So what is the common reason why you didnt like the first one and this one?

I am getting on with mine really well.

Basically I found the SG2 with Gingerbread more easy to get what I need done. I know the Nexus screen is supposed to be better but I can read the SG2 text better than the Nexus no matter what font size I use.

The GNex is also just a bit bigger device than I care to carry with me day in and day out.

Somehow I don't think you're going to get much sympathy for this move...

That is truly baffling, OP.

Reminds me of the "Ooh! A piece of candy! Ohh! A piece of candy! *falls into trap*" guy off of Family Guy for some reason..

"Ohh, a $700+ phone!" *Buys it*

"Meh, I'll stick to my old phone" *Sells it*

"Ohh, the same $700+ phone!" *Buys it*

Lolz..

On the contrary I like my Galaxy Nexus better than the SG2. While I loved the Galaxy S II I love the camera shots I have been getting on this bad boy in low light to no light settings.

They were both equally fast, so no complaints there, but I love stock android and having android 4.0 is so much better.

While I understand the GS2 is a terrific phone and I can see that this isn't really a huge upgrade coming from that and I understand why some wouldn't or don't need the Nexus.

I don't find the Nexus to be much bigger when comparing it to my wife's GS2 and not much heavier. I personally find the screen to be better as well, though to me both screens are phenomenal, so you cant go wrong with either. But I find it easier or more crisp when reading text on my Galaxy Nexus than the GS2.

I am just curious to why you thought you wanted it again? Why not try returning the phone? Wouldn't you save more money that way?

Both are great phones, I am happy with my choice to switch, though I would be happy with the GS2 as well, but I like the Galaxy Nexus a little more.

So what if I am insane. I do this all the time and it is not a big deal. Besides somone will love to have a new Nxus for $700 or less with two CaseMate cases including the Barely There.

Tonight with pictures in classified!

Wolfedude88: I'd like to direct a few questions at you, and I'm not sure this is the appropriate thread, but here goes:

1. From where did you import your GN?
2. How much did you pay for it?
3. How have your download speeds been on AT&T?
4. Is your GN the penta-band international version?
4. As a T-Mobile customer, can I expect HSPA+ speeds on an imported GN?
5. Besides potential worries about warranties and GoogleWallet, can you imagine any difficulties I'd have by importing a GN instead of waiting for the US release?

I really appreciate your time in answering the above.

I am on T-Mobile, getting the Nexus. I can atleast answer one of your question.

4. The Nexus international version has HSDPA rating at 21.6Mbps, so that is the max speed you will get theoretically, realistically it will be less than that. As for Verizon version, I don't know, but you can expect their LTE network to be fast.

5. The pentaband version is capable of GSM and UMTS/HSPA radio bands compatible by many carriers around the world. While the American version use WCDMA and LTE bands by Verizon, if you buy this version, you're pretty much stuck with Verizon. I recommend buying from a reseller that retains your international warranty, such as Expansys-USA. Also you don't have to import it, since its already available from many USA resellers, those resellers charge the custom fee in the phone's total price, which is why they cost more than $700.

1. Expansy-usa
2. $757 after everything paid for next day shipping, you can use the coupon code 20OFFLS for 20 bucks off
3. Download speeds have been about the same as the GSII and iphone 4s, anywhere from 3Mbps to 12Mbps, that is good where I live.
4. Yes, Fab was talking about his speeds on tmobile in another thread.
5. No if you buy from expansy-usa or handtec they should still have a warranty I believe, you shouldn't have any difficulties.

wish i'd known about that coupon before lol
yes, you still have warranty coverage though. after 15 day return period, if you have issues, you ship back to expansys-usa, and then they ship it out to Samsung iirc.

I have to say this is a little insane. I've done similar things but not with the same phone, but I will admit I'm a phone whore as well so...

Gregggg....ur a true Phone whore!

Oh GOD! You DO remember me! You got to remember that I had one of the very first 9900 unit$!

I admit I need help. Better be hooked on technology than drugs. I did the drugs long ago and glad I did not kill any of my friends or me!:o

You both know how euphoric it can be opening and playing with new toyz!
