Magnet in case

Hello

I'm finally going to be able to order my Note 3 in a couple of weeks.

I have a case for it, that I got the first time I was supposed to be able to order it.

It's one of these ones: [US$10.13] - HELLO DEERE Cherry Series Protective PU Leather Case w/ Hand Strap for Iphone 4 - Pink : Airyear Electronics Cheap Gadgets Shop

The little hearts have magnets in and there's a strip of magnet on the side where the hearts go.

I've since read that these cases can damage the phone because of the magnets, but whenever I look it up I just find forum posts with people arguing about whether or not this is actually the case, so I was just wondering if anyone here knew?

Thank you.

Quite a few top branded cases also have magnets in, so can't be that much of an issue, one of the case-mate cases I have for the Note 3 has a magnet in.
The only issue they do cause with the Note range is that it can interfere with the S-Pen as shown here: galaxy-note-3-case-mate-14

I'm using the "Official Samsung Galaxy Note 3 S-View Premium Cover Case" on my Note 3. It has a small magnet in the lower left corner which turns the screen on when it's opened and turns the screen back off when you close it. I also use a Spigen Magnetic Clip which is (obviously) magnetic. Neither have caused any problems.

I think you'd only get a problem if you placed a fairly large and very powerful magnet next to the phone, which I imagine nobody would want to do anyway. :)
