I've been trying to get the SMTP part of my mail setup working for a while now, but I have always received connection errors (unspecified) when trying to send mails via my own postfix server. I opened the /var/log/mail.log on the server and found that my server rejects the send requests from the phone, because it supplies "localhost" in the HELO command which is incorrect.
Is there a patch for this, or some way to manually correct the HELO domain?
