I have been using both gmail and my pop account. I like using the pop account better but I have some questions about HTC mail. Also, is there an email app with more features than HTC mail...filtering, contact add, rules, etc.
I use the sperry software outlook add in to add contact (with edit). Very handy for adding new contacts.
Q. As far as I can tell HTC mail does not check to see if the contact already exists. If you want to add to your contact (from the displayed email) HTC will not move the additional address over. Sometimes end up duplicating contacts.
Q. Does HTC eventually remove mail from the trash folder?
