Main advantages of rooting the S2??

I've just recently received my shiny new S2 and I'm wondering what the main reasons are that people on here have rooted theirs?

I had a HTC Desire and ended up rooting but that was primarily because of the shockingly small internal memory issue and since the S2 has no such problem - what other reasons are there?

I've read that some ROMS increase battery life but mine if fine for my uses!

Anyway, just thought I'd ask!
