Help Maintenance update released.

From what i understand, they dont update every phone at once... they do them in "chunks." It might be a day or two, but youll get it anytime.

I received the update. One tip. If you have the swype beta, remove it and the installer and restart your phone before running the update. The beta and the official version will conflict with each other and you will get nothing but forced stops when trying to use it.

does the official swipe have the mic option too?
 
Unless I was having a problem with my phone I'd be very hesitant to force the update until I at least heard from people that already had it. More often than not updates cause issues...
 
I received the update.

Tip #1, if you are waiting for the next version of unrEVOked to root your phone because you are at 3.30, do not accept this update.

Tip #2, if you have the Swype beta installed, uninstall it and delete both the program and installer. Then reboot your phone. After that, accept the update. I didn't remove mine, and every time I tried to use/license Swype, it would force a stop.

The update won't automatically install right? I can't remember if it did on the last update and since I'm in the swype beta I would need the heads up to uninstall it.
 
My market has updated (or at least it has a new look to it), but no software update yet (Austin, TX). However, swype just quit working and I'm in the beta program, so I have no idea. Software version still shows 3.29.651.5
 
I'm going to wait for the phone to notify me of an update, not going to force it just in case. I did get another market update but it hasnt changed from the last update I got. The funny thing is dolphin hd updated and it said something about it updating for the "Christmas Present" we're getting soon. Gingerbread maybe?

I haven't seen it either, but I also got the new market yesterday. Kind of neat looking.
 
i love my phone just the way it is. so do i have to accept the update?
or better yet can i block all fuether updates. since i am happy with the phone as is.
