Help major and wierd synching problems

I just got the HTC Incredible 2. Using google calendar sync i copied my outlook calendar to gcal. Problem is only part of it then transferred to my phone.

I read somewhere that this is connected to the amount of repeating events on the calendar. Is that true?

I'm not sure what to do now. Any ideas?

I had this issue with my incredible 1. It does indeed have to do with recurring events (at least that was my issue).

I use a call schedule for four people at work that rotates regularly 365 days a year. If someone needs a vacation or cannot take their call for whatever reason, I would go to Google calendar online and simply drag around events. THIS created this issue that I was having.

I found that the solution was to go to the event that needed changing and delete it as a "One Time Event" (this doesn't change the underlying repeating pattern). Then I would put in a single call event to replace the deleted one. So in other words NEVER drag appointments around....delete and replace.

Dragging around was certainly simpler but it doesn't jive well with my phone.

As an important side note. If this turns out to be your issue, you have to DELETE your entire calendar online and retype it in from scratch. It's a pain I know but after that you are golden.

Again, this was my issue with the calendar, it may not be what is causing your issues.

If this ^ isn't your issue, is the calendar you are trying to sync actually a compliation of your calendat and a subscribed calendar or two (see left column in the web version of your calendar). If so there is a whole other (but simpler) fix.
