Root Major Miui Problems

Have been running a miui rom with stock kernal on my dinc for several months now with no problems what so ever. Today, I decided to flash the latest version with the recomended kernal through rom manager. Everything went ok. The phone still worked fine, as a traditional phone. Just about every ap force closed though. I downloaded titanium backup and I couldn't even open it. I reflashed the original miui rom. Everything seemed to go fine. Now I can't even open rom manager anymore. I don't know what to do. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

do a full wipe and flash again.

I encountered a similar problem when I upgraded to the latest MIUI ROM. Apps were missing, random apps were FC'ing, but a reboot of the phone took care of all that. I did do a full wipe before installing the upgraded version however.

Sorry...total newbie question i'm sure. How do i do perform a wipe/reflash when i can't even open rom manager?

boot into recovery. its alot safer to make backups and flash roms in recovery.

as far as rom manager goes,you might try uninstalling and reinstalling. but id still recomend you not use it to flash roms.

what version of CWM recovery are you running? if its 3.0.0.5 there is known issues with it not doing a full whipe... I updated to 3.0.0.8 in the experimental builds and its been good so far
