Major problem with my lg optimus s

Hello everyone,

I have an LG optimus s phone with a problem. i started to learn about roms and thought they were interesting so i wanted to download one of my own. i downloaded one for LG ally and when i installed it on the phone it went successfully. But when i went to launch it it just shows lg and turns off and goes back to the lg screen again and keeps doing that until you take out the battery. so then i tried to install the preious rom it said that there was no such file or directory. i really need help and i don't want to buy a new phone. so please help me.

I don't understand why you would load an LG Ally ROM onto an LG Optimus S. Of course it's not going to work. It's a different phone.

Your description of the problem is too vague for me to help. You need to provide more details. I have no idea what you mean by "install" or "it went successfully" (since obviously it wasn't successful), etc. Did you root it? Did you install a custom recovery? Which one? Exactly what file are you trying to install where and how?

If your on zvd try cm9 or miui if on zvj try ginger rom or Dante rom if on zvh try Hydro rom you can see wat base and you are in about phone all these roms are on android central
