Help Major Problems :(

Every now and then when I press home when I'm in an app, it will reset the home screen. Not the phone, just the main home screen. Everything will vanish, apart from the wallpaper, I'll get a loading message then everything will come back in a 30 seconds to a minute. It's getting very annoying and I had the same problem with my HTC Hero, I just put up with it because my upgrade was in a few months.

I noticed it happened more when in the stock internet browser. I've changed to Opera Mobile and it doesn't happen as often.

Also, does you guys FN key work all the time? Mine seems to work when it wants to  The little arrow comes on top of the cursor but when I press a letter, the letter comes instead of the symbol.

The thing with the FN and caps key happens to mine also. It started doing that I think when I upgraded to 2.2.1. Along with a slower responding phone, I'm beginning to be sorry that I installed the update.

It's only FN for me atm but its so annoying. It must be worst for you with it not working for the caps too.

Bump! Since the update it's gotten so much worse. Everytime I update any app the home screen resets then after a while when ever I press the home button it does it. The only way to stop it for a while is to reset the phone...

It is such a PITA! I've not noticed any problem with caps or FN keys, but I don't often use the physical keyboard. My phone resets the home screen at least 15 times a day! I'd say it's a reproducible bug, but I cannot predict when it is going to happen. I will try resetting the phone to see if that helps - haven't tried that yet. Won't hold my breath, though.

Is there anywhere I can go to put in a "formal" complaint?

I'm really getting sick of this, and wish I could undo the "update" to go back to whatever version I had before.

I sent a email to HTC from their website (that was a few months before the update) and they said to hard reset the phone, but this means I would lose all the data stored on the phone...music, contacts, photos, game saves etc. Didn't really want to do that esp when the reply I got said that it MIGHT fix the problem. When you do a normal reset (hold down the power button, then clicking reset) it doesn't fix the problem, it only stops it for a bit then it starts again.
