Help Major SD card issues

Hi everybody,

I'm really hoping someone can help with this....

I don't know whether this is an issue with my phone, or the fact that both sd cards I've tried have been unbranded ebay purchases. I'm guessing it's probably the latter, but I just thought I'd check.....

So, exactly the same thing has happened with 2 separate 32gb sdhc's. I format them (FAT32), load them up with the content that I've copied from my stock 8gb (kingston btw) and I can see all the files perfectly. I can still see the files if remove the card and put it back in again. BUT as soon as it goes in my senny, it only sees 2gb worth of the info and the rest is in fact deleted completely. This happens whether I do this process via a usb adapter or whether I do it with the card in the phone. s soon as the phone reads the card... bam..... most of the data is lost.

As I said, I'm guessing that it's an issue with the cheap products I've bought, but I just wanted to check to make sure that it's not anything I'm doing (or not doing!) with my phone that's causing the issue.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Cheers, Mike. :D

I have an aData 32GB SD card in mine and have yet to have any problems... In saying that though, when I first purchased it, I didn't format - I just copied everything from my 16GB and went from there.

It's certainly possible. There's a lot of fake memory kicking about; for the sake of a few pence, it's worth getting branded parts from a reputable supplier. I've had cheap cards before and they're more trouble than they're worth.
