Make a nandroid backup

I just completed the rooting of my Optimus S (thanks to many of the posts on this forum), and I am trying to flash the ThunderRom. In the instructions it says to "make a nadroid backup." I have searched the internet for a couple hours and I am stumped.

It appears that after putting the ThunderRom zip file onto my sd card, then booting into recovery mode, that I will have an option to do the backup there, but this is not an option. It doesn't say anything about doing a backup.

What can I do???

Ok, I will check this out. Also to clarify, I followed the instruction HERE to get to where I am now.

EDIT: Thanks for pointing me in this direction. I redid all of the steps that were listed starting with "recovery" and it worked! Thanks again.
