Make capacitive buttons light time out

Is there any way to make the capacitive back light time out? It's somewhat distracting to me when I see it lit when I'm watching a video. Plus I'm sure it will help save some battery as well.

Would also minimize the impact of any light leakage people might be having... worth looking into.

I'm not sure if I want them completely off but Ill try it. Thank you!

Edit: Why does this app require accessing phone calls?

LED's hack is buggy. It looks like it tries to run everytime the buttons wants to light up. I sometimes see the LED turn on. I decided to re-enable my buttons again but now it shuts off on its own. Deleted the LED's Hack data and then uninstalled the app and my LED still turns off on their own. Trying to reflash my rom back to see they light up correctly again.
