Help Make "USB storage" mode default turn off

I"m using HD2 with android ROM.
When plug in to the USB port on computer, default state it will go to USB Storage.
But, it will also go to USB storage mode when i plug in to the AC or Car charger.

Is anyone see this?

There is no way to change it on the setting.

How to make it default not in "USB storage" mode? (Make it default turn off USB storage)

Is it anything to do with the kernel?
 
On my Droid X the mode seems to be remembered by the OS. Each time I plug in a USB cable it remembers the mode that it was in the last time I plugged something into the phone.
 
I don;t remember if this is a feature of android or of a custom rom I added, but once it is plugged in I am able to drag the status bar down and actually select "usb storage mode". At this point I am allowed to select another option as well as tick the "use these as default settings" box.
 
If you have Double Twist, or Winamp installed, there are options in both of those programs to have USB storage on by default.

Thanks, for me it was Winamp. Once I disabled "Auto Mount" in Winamp settings USB storage is no longer defaulted on.
