Root Make wifi only D1 race....

I'm about to get a wifi only D1. (currently have DX)

So, I wanna really get in there and do some work. Any suggestions on where to start to make this thing fly??

Root it, install ROM manager and clockworkmod, or RaidZero's bootloader, and load up UD 2.5 or 3.0.1 (gingerbread). Grab a new kernel, perhaps from ChevyNo1 or RaidZero, and overclock it. Some ROMs come with their own overclocking utility (UD does), or you can use SetCPU.

RaidZero made some custome kernels for me, but the voltages are very low and probably won't work on most phones.

I've found that at 1000mhz, battery life starts to take a hit, and at 1200, it doesn't last long at all.
