Make your finger print scanner work better.

I've noticed after a while it gets harder to scan my finger print. Rescan your finger print every one or two weeks and it will work like a charm! I had to scan it about 3 times for it to read but after I set it up again it works the first time.

Another trick i learnt. when you rescan and it asks you to scan 3 or 4 times, swipe your finger from a slighly different angle eaxh time. This way it has more of your fingerprint stored and works better when you swipe a little crooked.

Also, something I just figured out, for those of you who use the car dock.

Do 2 finger scans normal, or at different angles like suggested above, but you can also do a finger print scan upside down. This is beneficial for people who need to unlock the phone while it is docked in the car dock and if you don't want to take the phone out.

This works well, I have tried it.

thats weird, i cant say it works as well for me, it seems when i tried this that although the scan recognized my print, it took even longer for the acutal print to register it seems therefore the phone took a bit longer to actually unlock.

i thought i was lag at first and tried it 5 more times all with the same 'slower' result..

I think the scanner is working properly, doesn't matter if you scan upside or downside, it's still the same fingerprint.
