Making a backup image of 1.6

i finally got my phone back to 1.6 on my mytouch3g and i wanted to create a full backp of the android system or a backup image. i been searching but most links are showing for unrooted.

Please share some of these links. I would like to create a full backup of my unrooted mt3g, especially before I get the 2.2 update

It's very quick and easy to root/unroot.

Download universal androot.
Press the "root" button.
Download ROM manager and use it install clockwork recovery.
Use ROM manager to make a backup.
Unroot.

Then if you want to go back you can.

yeah true just thought i could of done it without rooting, am little on
the lazy side to root again
