Root Making Phone Boot time Longer - HELP!!!

I have a custom boot animation and sound I made. It is 15 seconds in length! Not that long you say... However at 8 seconds I get the all too familiar android "vibrate" - you know the one that signals it is about to boot into the OS. Then at 10 seconds my song ends, boot animation cuts off not finished and the phone loads into the start screen.

I am on ".34" not ".36" and if anyone knows these phones as I do, its as east as shutting phone down after clicking to apply the update, so it shuts down not restarts. Samsung now shows "no updates avail" in software update section! yaaay - no issues losing my root!!

So yea, root working great, but how can one prolong the OS startup? I THINK it has something to do with the "bootanimation" file in the "system/bin" folder however opening that file up as a text file its all a bunch of gibberish and who can understand where in there is what you would edit or add code to prolong the boot so my custom Boot Movie and sound plays fully through?

I DO NOT have a "samsungani" file - never have, but downloaded one from here and added it - no help. Same 10 second cut off, so no dice there. IDK what else to try! HELP!!!

Thanks :)

i cant understand why you would want it to take longer to boot most want a faster boot? i dont use boot ani or audio on boot

He's wanting the boot ani and sound to play completely before going into the ROM.

@OP: In all honesty, there may not be a way to do what you're wanting. The only possibilities that I can think of that come close to doing what you're wanting would either negatively impact the animation and sound as well, or would only work once. But then I'm no Android guru, so take my advice with that grain of salt.
