Help Making the tab for the multi window panel go away

I noticed this morning when watching a video on my new Note 2014, that the tab on the left side for the multi window stayed visible the whole time we watched the show. Sort of annoying. I figure this must be a setting some place or there must be someway of dismissing it so it goes back to completely hidden on the left side.

Any thoughts?

press and hold the left softkey and again to bring it back

You can also pull down the shade and toggle off Multi-Window permanently.

Actually you have to press and hold the RIGHT softkey (the back button).
