Hello guys, I just got an xperia play and i LOVE it, the only thing that could make it 10 times better is if i could play Mame, iv tried to get the tiger arcade that so many talk about but i cant find it, i found some online and when i put it in the games folder it doesn't show up, i beg of you guys PLEASE help me with this dilemma i want the MAME emulator so bad. i would appreciate the help, thank you very much.

Does anyone know why tiger arcade got takin off android market or if its ever coming back on. I bought this phone primarily for the emulators and I really want this app on my phone but the link above didnt work for me. So far I have fpse and snes9x and they both work flawlessly. The only two other apps i want are n64oid and tiger arcade mame can anyone help me?Thanks

jrioni arcade plays a lot of roms well. It's on the market. It's much better at playing games using Capcom's CPS1 board (Ghouls'n Ghosts, Strider, etc.) because it's got the sound emulated well whereas Tiger Arcade only plays static (but the visuals are spot-on). The two emulators complement each other well because one plays some roms well and the other plays others well. Tiger Arcade plays Neo Geo roms at a higher frame rate than jrioni and it does well with Capcom's CPS2 board-based games.

It's hit or miss really...you just need to try roms on both emus and see what plays what better (or at all).

Agreed. Tiger Arcade/MAME plays all games smooth and all but CPS1 with perfect sound. Jroni plays the early 80s games that Tiger does not play.

Both together kind of equals a fairly good MAME from about five years ago- sans the hard drive and laser games.
