This is my first android device...so im not sure what is considered "normal" or "status quo" when it comes to multitasking and performance. And ive been reading up a lot about task manangers/killers and their benefit. But ive definently decided that there is no need for such an app on this phone.
I have been able to do whatever I want with the Inspire...watch movies...listen to music...surf the web...install and uninstall multiple applications...and have 5 screens running with widgets on each...and this thing refuses to slow down. I am very very impressed with its ability to do what I ask it to do...and not take something away from me in return.
The lowest ive seen my available RAM get is around 120MB free...regardless of what ive thrown at it. So I think the 768MB of RAM that the inspire is packing has a lot to do with its ability to perform so well...as opposed to similar devices that are only sporting 512MB.
Just wanted to share my enthusiasm with this phone so far....Apple would have to pay ME to switch back to an iPhone 4 again.....
