Root Managing media files?

I have playlists on my phone as albums but the songs are all in the wrong order which is a problem for albums like "War of the Worlds" which is supposed to play in order of track number!

Similar thing with photo's. On my iPhone I could set up different folders for holiday snaps etc but even when I create the folders directly, they all get lumped together in "camera shots."

Any help appreciated.

Am new to Android, but I assume you have pics on SD card, therefore you will likely have to view on file manager type APP, so that it sees them in the folders, I don't know of one, but search or ask/post for one.
