Managing Memory

New phone, the Captivate. 8 gig sd card.

Not knowing what I was doing (I blame overreliance on Iphone) I dumped everything including a lot of music on my phone and am not using my sd card.

My thought is to get a 16 gig micro sd card and put all of my music on the card, and delete it from the phone memory (by copying the music directory from the phone and pasting it on the card). A few questions.

1) Will that work?

2) Are there specific things you would recommend putting on the phone vs the card? I'm thinking music/pics/videos on the card and apps on the phone.

3) What is the largest card that would work on the phone?

Thanks,

Sean

I think up to 32 gig...anyway the sd card basically holds anything you don't want to lose. factory wipes, warranty/insurance replacements, os updates etc. means you lose whats on the phones memory
