A buddy of mine has a Droid (origina/1 whatever you call it). He wants to make sure it is at its prime when we head overseas in March. Currently this phone does not have any service contact. We just plan to use Skype over wifi to call back to the states. Of course the android phones are little computers so they can do so much more...
How can he update the OS from a PC? That's all we are trying for. Oh, and what about rooting and loading Gingerbread? Is this an option?
