Help manually setting time/date

Hello,

I am on a trip to Korea. When I powered on my phone after arriving in Korea the date had changed to January 7, 1980. I can't seem to find a way to set the date and time manually. I would like to use the phone as an alarm clock during the trip.

I'm not sure if this is related to the incorrect time, but when I try to goto the google play storei get a message that there is no connection and a retry button. The wifi works for all other apps and web browsing.

My phone is stock and less than one month old. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Hi there not sure if you're still in korea but in short you need an application that can correctly display system time.

Since you will not have data access /service which updates the system time, you need to set your phone to allow installs from unknown sources (Settings -> applications -> tick unknown sources) then download a program that updates the time for you
such as this one
