Root Manually switch cores on samsung galaxy s4 i9500?

The exynos 5 edition comes with 2 quad cores it said that one core is for gaming and one is for battery saving. Is there any rooted manual way to switch between these cores to make the phone faster when i need it and more power saving when i need it?

Maybe with a custom kernel that supports hot plugging but I have no experience with that so im not sure sorry
