Help Manually uninstall app

I had previously installed Tunein Radio Pro 5.2 from Getjar. I noticed a new version (5.4) today on the market and tried to update it. It would not update saying that I had not purchased the app. Tunein Radio Pro 5.4 is on sale today for .49 cents so I uninstalled the 5.2 hoping to be able to install version 5.4 but it does not give me the option to purchase the app. The only option is to install, but then I get the error message "The download of "TuneIn Radio Pro was declined because you haven't purchased it".

Any help will be appreciated.

Will an app like File Expert work?
File expert on Market
You can browse to your apps folder, select program and uninstall. I haven't tried it yet, but maybe it can work.

I am not sure if it would have worked. The problem is that I have already uninstalled it, but there must still be some remnants of it somewhere. I just don't know where to look to clean up any "leftovers".

Can you install the old one then use something like app cleaner to try and uninstall it completely again?

I originally installed it through Getjar and now the Tunein Pro app is not listed on Getjar anymore, so I don't have any way to reinstall the original Tunein 5.2.

edit: I just went to the Getjar website and I see the app listed, I just did not see it on the Getjar app on my phone. I will give this a shot.

Now when I try to reinstall the original v. 5.2 from Getjar, it says that it is not compatible with the Galaxy Nexus. I guess I just need to find a way to clean up the original Tunein installation. Frustrating.

Funny this question is here because I just did the same exact thing last night with TuneIn Radio and World Of Goo. Can't beat .49!! The only I way I got around it is to uninstall the app, then buy it through the Appbrain market app. The regular market always gave the error message but with Appbrain it gave me the option to purchase. Hope this helps!

Thanks. I'll give it a try.
