Help Many Text Notifications

i have installed few text message application like go sms,handcent sms and inbuilt system message,
when i receive any text i get notifications from all those applications which is very irritating i tried 2 switch notifications of frm each particular app still it wont work i just want system notification text message on and others 2 shut off please help.

if you have switched off notifications in the relevant apps properly then this should no longer be an issue, and should just show stock app.

Another way to do it is just uninstall the SMS apps you no longer use.
