I'm in the UK and Google Maps is amazing.
I have two "complaints" with it, and that's just because Nokia Maps is very comprehensive: you can only cache small areas for offline use (whereas Nokia lets you download a whole country, continent or the whole planet), and the Navigation does not tell you things like "second exit" on the roundabout, nor does it show the speed limit or travelling speed.
All in all they're minor niggles and should if anything highlight how excellent Google Maps otherwise is in Europe.
