Help Maps or GPS problem.

Anytime I pull up the stock maps app, it never shows me anywhere close to where I am. Yesterday and today, it's been about 15 miles off. I'm st my house both times, and each tie it showed me about 15 miles away in different locations.

Anybody know how I can fix this? To my knowledge, I haven't done anything with GPS settings (just got my phone yesterday). I did download some apps that use gps I'm sure.

OK, it's working now. The screen popped up with GPS settings on it's on and I turned on the GPS satellites and assisted GPS. It's working now and looks almost dead on my location. Woohoo!

Sounded like you where on aGPS, which just uses the cell tower you are connected to and throws out a big circle of where you might be. I get this when I'm indoors a lot, because it can't see the GPS satelites when indoors well enough to get a fix. But just make sure you have all 3 of the GPS settings checked, and you should be golden!
