Mark SMS as spam

[Android Question]

I receive twice a day a news report that I'm not interested in.
My carrier doesn't cooperate (I'm in Mexico) but it's driving me crazy.
I can't block it normally cause the name of the sender is made of letters and not numbers.
Using a Samsung Galaxy S5.
Any ideas?

Does the news service texting you have a website? If so, maybe you can try and un- subscribe that way.

Either what LilBit suggested or see if you can download a blocker application and potentially block these texts from coming through using the application.
