Root Market App ANNOYINGLY Losing Apps, Prompting Updates for NO Update???

Hello...

Couple ANNOYING issues I am having with my Market app...has been happening since v3.15 up to 3.20 and now with my latest v3.3.11. I'm running MikG ROM v2.56 and a2sd (darktremor) build in so that you know where my apps reside...

First, when I launch the Market and choose "My Apps" to see, well, my apps, sometimes all the apps are there and sometimes they are not!! Seems to be random but happens OFTEN. I have approximately 160 apps installed per the Market count as seen on my phone. Sometimes the number shown is 160 and sometimes it is as low as about 120!!?? I am NOT sure what apps are "missing" from that tally, not sure why it happens or when. What seems to fix, temporarily, is a wipe of the Market data but the issue ALWAYS reappears...

Second issue is that I will occasionally be prompted to Update apps which have NO UPDATES. For example, see my issue tonight with my ChompSMS. I was prompted that I have an update available:

But then when I click on the ChompSMS prompt to update, I see this:

The only options are to "Open" or "Uninstall" rather than the option to "Update.' The reason is because I am running ChompSMS 3.22 and the version in the Market is 3.22...so there should be NO UPDATE for me at this time!!

SOMETHING is wacky with my Market app and I can't help but believe that my two issues are related.

Does anyone know why sometimes all "My Apps" are listed and sometimes they are reduced by up to as much as 40?? And does anyone know why I am prompted to update apps that are up to date?? THANKS!!

I don't think its just you. I think its the market. Those annoying issues happen to me too. Even after clearing caches.

Yes I to believe this is a market issue.

Have the same problem periodically here also (Running MikG 2.58). Almost daily it tells me I have an update, but only have the option to Open or Uninstall. Sometimes it will let me update multiple times in a row doing the same download over and over.....

Reboot of my phone seems to clear it up though, at least temporarily. Figured it was just a hiccup with the market.

I Have been having this update problem for a while and could not understand it either.

I assume all you guys are running Market v3.XXXX yes?? A ROM other than the MikG one that I am using was mentioned above and I didn't have this problem prior to my ROM installing v3.XXX Market or higher.

Yep, Market 3.2.0 here

Another thing to check is..Make sure you are not under another Gmail account on the market place. I have 3 gmails and I have accidentaly been under another account and downloaded and app and then went to another and it wont show up.
