Root Market App Install Issues

Looks like Meach and I were on the same path on this one. I decided yesterday to backup my SD card and reformat to see if it would have any affect. Been wanting to clean up all the residue from months of use on the card anyway. I have not had any problems with the install hang in BB.4 since doing so.

Here are the steps I took:
1. Backup any important data on your SD Card to an alternate source.
2. Format SD Card using ROM Managers "Partition SD Card" option
3. Copy any important files back onto SD Card; Clockwork, Titanium BU, etc.
4. Flash back to your favorite FROYO rom

I flashed a backup of BB.4 that I had all set up that was previously doing the install hang. No problems yet. I will post again if the issue reappears. Hope this helps others with the same problem!
 
Nice, glad you got yours sorted too, FLroofpro. Three days and still no probs for me. Everything is running smoothly. I would definately recommend this to anyone having this issue.
 
I'm having these fact same problems on my HTC Desire. Trouble is I know nothing about flashing or ROMs. I've twice had to do a factory reset to resolve and each time It's only half a day before the issue occurs. Is it even in my interests to root, whatever that is? In d
