Root Market App missing

[daNutz]

Flashed sapphire 1.1 to my droid and there is no Market app (i've had this problem with other roms too). Does anyone else have this issue or know how to fix it.

Note that I did do a full data wipe and that did not help. I'm also trying to download the google app zip file but my phone is saying that this type of file is not supported. As a matter of fact I can't download ANY files... don't know what the deal is

Any help is appreciated.

If you didn't install the GApps update at the time of ROM install, a lot of things are not going to work properly. You need to install that right after you flash the ROM and preferably before you boot for the first time to avoid those complications.

Sapphire, like CM, bundles Gapps in a seperate file. Get it here
http://files.ccroms.net/download.php?q=sapphire/froyo/1.1.0/release/sapphire-1.1.0-gapps-update.zip
flash that you you will be all set.

EDIT:

Damn it Vince beat me to it...
